Bonefish & Tarpon Trust Keys Initiative

The Florida Keys have long been credited with being the birthplace of flats fishing. Since the early days, the Keys have been host to many of the legends of the flats. It is with that history in mind, and the importance of the Florida Keys as an icon in the global flats fishery that we are announcing Bonefish & Tarpon Trust's newest initiative--the Florida Keys Initiative. The first project is already under way--an assessment of bonefish prey on Florida Keys habitats--with more projects on the way.
