With todays kayak fishing as popular as it is, there is always someone pushing the limits and showing that you don't need a boat to catch some serious fish. This time of year, the bait is thick on the beach and the tarpon, as with many other predator fish, are close behind. In this video Florida Sportsman member Poseidon10/31 shows the epic battle unfold from the view of his GoPro. Not only do you see the fight but see what you have to go through to get there, such as the ripping tide that can easily roll a kayak. Once you get through the tide rips you clearly see the abundance of fish staged in the current waiting for an easy meal.
