The Anglers Cookbook brings together Vic Dunaway's more than 65 years of catching and cooking experience into a colorful, informative volume on cleaning, preparing and enjoying fish and seafood.
Dunaway is one of the country's most respected outdoor writers. His work is a must read for all those interested in everything to do with fishing in Florida. He is the author of a variety of other best-selling books, including Baits, Rigs & Tackle and Sportfish of Florida. Dunaway recently retired as Florida Sportsman's Sportsman's Kitchen and Waterfront View columnist.
The Angler's Cookbook is a practical guidebook to cooking with chapters on cooking fish in the skillet, on stews and soups, on smoking fish, on cooking outdoors—even on cooking fish in the microwave—and much more. The recipes are highly enjoyable but not complicated to execute.
Baked Stuffed fish is a classic, and the book has five stuffings to accompany the preparation.
Baked fillets Alicante has onions, white wine and nuts.
Fish Almondine is a super preparation for mild fish like pompano and seatrout.
