The Sundance DX20 addresses an issue with rolled edge, webbed interior skiffs, have been on the market for years now. They get the job done but fall a little short when it comes to appealing to the family. Choosing a skiff with the same style hull but with a molded fiberglass inner liner will not only be easier to clean up at the end of the day but may get a quicker nod from a wife who's picturing a trip to the sand bar with the neighbors and kids. Liners also allow the manufacturers to design in features like stern mounted livewells and folding jump seats. These seats that commonly flank the port and starboard sides of the rear casting deck offer additional comfortable seating for passengers but fold out of the way when it's time to wet a line. As is with the choice of an inner liner you may want to pick a hull that's not totally flat on the bottom. Having a bit of a V incorporated into the hulls entry will make a big difference on the ride and dryness of the boat.
