FS Member Bass2Bucks made this short video of himself and Capt. Shane flipping and pitching for bass from their recent summertime outings.
Bass2Bucks posted, "I have been doing a lot of flipping and pitching this summer and lately its really been paying off. The last two trips out with Captain Shane we have caught several bass by flipping creature baits such as gambler BB crickets, Flappy daddys and crawdaddys into hyacinth mats along the canal banks. We have noticed the cleaner water has been more productive than the stained or muddier water which is pretty typical of most places you fish in florida. When I flip I like to use a heavy action rod and a reel with a fast gear ratio. I also use 60+ pound powerpro with a gambler K/O flipping hook. I use a bobber stop to peg my weight to my hook."
