Successful First Hog Hunt in Big Cypress

Among Trophy Room entries this week is a great photo selection of a young lady taking her first wild hog in Big Cypress Preserve.

Florida Sportsman Member floridacrackr sent the following report: “We had NatGeo Wild's "Python Hunter" Shawn Meiman and his daughter Nikki out for her first hog. After putting a stalk on a group that eventually made their way into a cypress head and out of range this big boy came out at 100 yards from us. Nikki made an incredible shot with her new .308 and he dropped in his tracks!”

Thanks for sharing your photos. It's encouraging to see a new generation of hunter enjoying the resource, and also to see images captured by thoughtful photographers in the field.
