Stamas 326 Aegean Review

Let's take a closer look at the Stamas 326 Aegean in this boat review

Stamas 326 Aegean Review

The visibility offered by running from the elevated helm position on the 326 Aegean is on par with a flybridge model.

The Aegean Series from Stamas is a standout in the world of outboard powered fishing boats that keeps alive the tradition of family excursion boating and fishing. This classic express sport fisherman design with raised helm and full sized cabin below is more commonly associated with the diesel inboard boats of the past. The Stamas 326 Aegean brings all of the functionality and comforts of this trusted design into the modern era with upgraded style and the convenience and efficiency of 1.6 MPG cruising economy with reliable outboard power.

Live aboard family vacation trips to the Bahamas or the Keys are a reality with this Air Conditioned cabin design that offers a double berth forward and twin sized aft cabin for the kids. Dining table for family meals and a galley with refrigerator, microwave, electric stove top along with an enclosed head with shower make multi-day trips more enjoyable.

For fishing and diving the Aegean cockpit is roomier than most in her class and features the classic sportfish layout for outrigger fishing with an elevated perspective from the helm. A Bait prep and tackle center, live well and 147-quart fishbox are all included and easy access into the water for diving and swimming is available through the cockpit door leading to an integrated transom platform and boarding ladder.

A noteworthy mention about performance that seems to hold true with each Stamas I’ve had the chance to run is how solid and stable these boats are in the water. The 326 Aegean feels like so much more than a 32-foot boat underway and absolutely destroys the chop. For trips to distant waters, you’ll invariably find conditions changing for the worse at some point eventually and when the family is onboard- this is exactly the kind of boat to instill confidence to the head of the family that everyone’s getting home safely. Packing up the whole gang for a summer trip to the islands may not be as common as it once was but these are the trips that keep families together and the 326 Aegean is the perfect platform to keep traditions alive.
