Skull Island is using ultra-light Kevlar and corecell construction with 100% vinlyester resins to build a shallow water craft that is light and agile. This “Technical Poling Skiff” as they're called can allow two shallow water anglers access to areas of the flats that larger flats boats just can't go. The hull design is whisper quiet and able to turn on a dime. The hull tracks straight which will make poling the boat easier, especially on a windy day. If you're a fly fisherman, the under gunnel rod holders can handle your 9 foot fly rod. This light weight skiff has exceptional performance with an outboard as small as 30 horsepower. Available in three interior layouts that best fit your fishing style. A tiller control for maximum cockpit space, followed by a side console that offers the convenience of a steering wheel, or a center console.
