Sheepshead and Redfish Near Pensacola

Kayak angler Josh Henson and crew from Team Reel-Wet kayak fishing uploaded this video report of redfishing and sheepshead fishing in their waters near Pensacola, Florida.This time of year, it's lots of sheepshead and redfish catches near structure using natural baits.

The kayak fishing team is participating in Kayak Wars, a web-based kayak tournament that runs from Feb. 7 to Dec. 14, 2012. The way this tournament is organized, there are no weigh-in sites. Photo submissions are uploaded to a website to show the fish catch, fish identification and fish length. Competitors nationwide compete against each other as 3 to 5 member teams.
