Scout has come up with another great combination design geared towards the family who likes both fishing, as well as cruising with their 215 XSF model. The deck layout of this boat provides extremely comfortable seating forward for cruising and relaxing fans, yet still features an aft cockpit design more tailored to the needs of the anglers in the family. Plush upholstery combined with racy European inspired styling and trim are a powerful draw for the cruising half of the team. The overall esthetic of this boat did not go un-noticed at the dock each evening after our test days, drawing many admiring glances from the fairer half of each couple that passed it by. During real trials on the water the traditional center console fishing features struck a nice balance for the fishermen in our group.
Standard comfort equipment includes Bow Bolsters and Full Bow Cushion Set, Forward Sun Lounge with cushions, and Aft Bolsters Port and Starboard. The Helm face is pre-rigged with a Fusion Bluetooth Stereo (driving four 6” Speakers,) (3) USB Outlets and 12V plug, Digital Gauges, Compass, SS Wheel w/Knob and Bay Star Hydraulic Steering. A Powder Coated Aluminum Leaning Post with a padded backrest which accommodates (4) rods and 72-quart below the seat is also standard. An Aerated Live Well with high speed pickup is located in the transom along with (4) additional rod holders. Access to the integrated swim platform and dual Swim/Boarding Ladders is easy through the Transom Door. All LED lighting is used throughout the boat and systems access below the cockpit deck is made easy through a large hatch aft. Numerous additional equipment options are available to outfit the 215 XSF to your tastes. This is a very family friendly boat offering a broad appeal to the lifestyle boater crowd who like to mix socializing, cruising, fishing and water sports and needs a single vessel to do it all in.
