There's a reason the RiversEdge 200 FX motto is “escape anywhere.” Owner Neil Rohan says this tunnel-hulled boat should be fished hard, inshore and offshore.
The first thing you'll notice on the Rivers Edge 200FX flats boat is its unique full-tunnel hull. The hull design was originally sold under the name Day Five, but the mold was sold and sat dormant until 2009. Neil Rohan re-designed the boat, modernizing the construction, deck and console layout. This boat gets shallow—like 5 inches shallow!
Now, the hull features a lifetime warranty against hull punctures. A roomy cockpit, wide gunwales and large fore and aft casting decks make room for four anglers to fish comfortably. Features include a hydraulic jack plate, U-FLEX hydraulic steering, 12-inch Lenco trim tabs, automatic bilge pump with switch, and two re-circulating wells with overflow. Plenty of other options are available, too.
