Big game fishing for marlin is something that will always get anglers blood pumping, but when these big pelagic species decide to join the party in the boat things can get a little dangerous (this happens more than one would think!).

In this marlin charged video, one mate is making wraps on the fish as the angler is fighting it from the chair. As a second mate is guiding the angler, the marlin charges back towards the boat with blazing speed and boosts himself into the cockpit. When the marlin hits the deck it slides around the angler, the long bill aimed directly at the second mate. Running out of cockpit and at risk of getting impaled, he chooses the only way out of this sticky situation, get wet! Watch this frightening experience above, whew! Close call!
