The Hewes Redfisher 18 can accommodate several of your angling buddies along with increased distances you may have to travel to your fishing hot spot. For decades this boat has been a favorite among backcountry anglers and many Keys guides have made their living out of one. Famous for a combination of speed, range and ride, now you're in a class of boats that boasts more features including a livewell system that will keep your bait healthier. The forward mounted fuel tank balances the boat better, while lessening the amount of water the hull drafts. This will allow further access onto the flats. The Hewes has storage fore and aft that will let you carry loads of gear, secure and dry. The larger outboard, in the 150 horsepower range, will increase your speed and the 31-gallon fuel tank extends the range of the boat. The wide beam gives you the stability to walk the gunnels and have a more secure feeling up on top of the poling platform.
