Go Mongo's Hawaiian Poke

A traditional Hawaiian way of enjoying tuna is to make poke—using raw tuna and spices and some veggies. It hasn't caught on in the mainland very well, but it's a quick and convenient way to prepare your fresh-caught tuna that's different and way less labor-intensive than making sushi.

FS member Go Mongo posted a poke recipe from his days living on theBigIsland, and it can be made with our without seaweed. He uses blackfin tuna, the tuna most commonly caught around our state.
