Go Mongo's Hawaiian Poke

A traditional Hawaiian way of enjoying tuna is to make poke—using raw tuna and spices and some veggies. It hasn't caught on in the mainland very well, but it's a quick and convenient way to prepare your fresh-caught tuna that's different and way less labor-intensive than making sushi.

FS member Go Mongo posted a poke recipe from his days living on theBigIsland, and it can be made with our without seaweed. He uses blackfin tuna, the tuna most commonly caught around our state. As one member writes in the thread, just reading the recipe made him drool. Here's the recipe, in the thread, Hawaiian Poke.
