This offering from Glasstream fills a need for the family who enjoys multiple types of water sport. The unique race inspired design of the Glasstream line is obvious in this model that can be described as a hybrid of sorts. Although technically listed as a center console as in “offshore style” boat, the 240 CC looks, feels and lays out like a multi-function inshore/offshore, cruise/fish/dive combo package. This is a light, fast, economical boat that fits in equally well drifting a shallow bay, trolling offshore, or wedged up on the sand bar comfortably. A high lift ventilated step design adds speed and efficiency while running. Although it is rated for up to 250 horsepower, a 150 pushes her along nicely while remaining fuel friendly. The racing heritage of this company peeks out at you from behind the sport boat curtain in both the bottom design as well as the style of the dash console along with the rakish sheer line. Standard equipment on the 240 CC includes a setback molded transom with a swim platform, 64-qt baitwell, 240-qt. fish box with overboard drainage, front entry console with head and plenty of dry storage. There is forward seating that converts to a sun deck lounge area with additional cushions as well as aft jump seating in both corners across the transom. The helm area is very race boat inspired esthetically and is comfortable running behind from the leaner seat. Add some options such as Bluetooth stereo with 4 speakers, bow deck sun cushion, fresh/saltwater wash-downs, LED cockpit lighting and underwater lights and you can build a nice little sub-50K sport boat that the whole family will find enjoyable.
