G3 is no new comer to the boating industry so when they launched the G3 Bay 18 it was engineered to be used in saltwater. They incorporated a baked-on two part urethane hull finish and a Tuff Coat spray in interior liner. The hull construction also includes full length longitudinal stringers and injected closed cell foam. The .100 gauge welded hull has aluminum lids on the decks and an all-aluminum transom. Two anglers can sit behind the helm over the top of a lid that opens to a 41 inch long, 27 gallon divided livewell. The split level bow casting platform has a storage hatch on the top of the lower aft section and a trolling motor plug panel on the face of the deck as it goes forward to the flush raised section. Four floor drains channel away water to the bilge to keep your feet dry. The anti-skid interior surface is cool to the touch and has a grip that keeps you sure footed and your gear from sliding around to cockpit.
