Dogfish Tackle Company was established in 1985 by owner Bob Martin when he started selling tackle at the Wagon Wheel Flea Market.
Shortly after, Martin moved to their second location across from his favorite fishing spot, the Redington Long Pier.
Expansion was necessary again and in November of 2005, the Dogfish Tackle SuperCenter was opened.
Martin and longtime manager Capt. Dave Bayes credit their success to taking great pride in their product selection and striving to satisfy their customers' fishing needs.
With the latest tackle, over 3,000 rods(including custom Dogfish Stik), over 300 different reels, cool old time fishing photos on the walls and a friendly, knowledgeable staff, it's easy to understand Dogfish Tackle Company ‘s success.
