How close to home is too close when it comes to deer hunting?
Even in a terrible economy Florida continues to grow. Before long we'll surpass 20 million in the sunshine state. And as we grow, we push further and further into prime whitetail country.
You can't legally shoot deer in someone's backyard, but there's no getting around the fact that occasionally a deer you shoot may end up in someone else's garden.
Florida Sportsman member Skunk Ape posed this question to other FS members, "Anyone hunt around homes or backyards? I have a friend who let's me hunt his 20 acres with neighbors all around. Place is slap full of deer, I mean way overpopulated. I am perfectly legal hunting there, but I am constantly paranoid of shooting a deer and having to trail it off the property. Any advice?
