Pro-staffer and Elite Bassmaster Angler Dean Rojas will greet fans and offer free fishing tips this weekend at two of Florida's popular Gander Mountain stores. Rojas, one of the fan favorites in pro fishing circles, will appear at the Gander Mountain store in St. Augustine on Saturday, March 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and at the Gander Mountain store in Jacksonville on Sunday, March 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“The lakes, rivers and coasts of Florida are known world-wide for some of the best fishing anywhere, and it's great to meet so many people who love nothing more than a day on the water,” said Rojas, who is in Florida in advance of the season opener for the Bassmaster Elite series, which will be held March 15-18 on the St. John's River near Palatka. “One of the reasons I'm so proud to be a part of the Gander Mountain team is the countless fishing experts they have staffing stores throughout the country, and the reputation they've earned as the place serious anglers go for the best gear and best advice.”
Rojas will appear as part of Gander Mountain's First Cast event, and will be on hand to sign autographs, offer fishing tips and answer any questions fans may have. First Cast gives anglers a chance to enter and win one of three great fishing trips: a Totem Lodge Canadian Fishing Trip to Lake of the Woods in Ontario; a Shimano Saltwater Fishing Trip to Ocean Key Resort & Spa near Key West, Florida; and a Berkeley Bass Fishing Trip to Lake Fork Marina near Alba, Texas.
The Gander Mountain store in St. Augustine is located at 550 Prime Outlet Blvd. The Jacksonville Gander Mountain is at 13075 City Square Drive in Jacksonville.
