A brand new addition to the Cobia line is the flagship 340CC that's set to be unveiled at the Miami International Boat Show this week. The double-stepped hull is loaded with a long list of standard features like twin 41 gallon livewells, in-deck insulated fish boxes, a side dive/tuna door, folding rear bench seat and more. Two switches, one fore and one aft, control electric actuators that lift a bilge access door in the stern and a table in the bow which recesses into the cockpit floor.
The center console has a flat, aviation style, glass panel that encompasses the gauges and electronics. The interior of the console has a head and sink, which you would expect to find in a boat this size, but in addition you will find a berth that rises to access hidden, lockable rod storage.
Length is 34-feet, 4-inches and the beam is 11-feet, 2-inches giving the 340CC 131 square feet of cockpit. Fuel capacity is 320 gallons and the max horsepower rating is 900.
On close inspection it's obvious that the same skilled craftsmen who produce the Maverick, Hewes and Pathfinder line of boats are also building the Cobia boats as well. The innovative designs, precision fit of the tooling and attention to detail in the finish have elevated the Cobia to a new level of quality. Be sure to stop by Booth E-24 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, during the boat show, and see for yourself. Visit www.cobiaboats.com for their complete line-up.
