Caymas 341 CC Boat Review

Let's take a closer look at the Caymas 341 CC in this boat review.

The 341 from Caymas packs serious offshore fishability into a design that offers loads of cruising amenities when the need arises.

The need to maximize every inch of deck space isn't limited to the Bay boats we've seen from Caymas. One way the 341 CC meets this challenge is to offer seating options that allow you to remove them from the work space when not in use- WITHOUT the need to actually remove them from the boat entirely.

A pair of forward benches to port and starboard fold into a pocket that merges seamlessly into the inner liner when stowed. A similar bench in the cockpit spans the transom and stows out of sight in the same way.

The console of the 341 ties the foredeck, helm, and cockpit work space together neatly- beginning with a comfortable form fitting contoured double chaise lounge in the bow. The lounge leads to a streamlined helm with a vented three-sided glass enclosure.

The interior offers plenty of storage and features vertical rod holders in the teak deck, a porcelain marine head and sink with a pull out showerhead. The helm face provides room for a pair of 17-inch Multi-Function Display units.

The Hardtop and enclosure integrate neatly into the console forward and Helm station aft using flat formed D-tubing powder coated pipework that maximizes clearance around the deck surrounding the workspace. Lumitec lighting, speaker pods, electronics and radar pods, along with a pass-through hatch overhead, all add to the custom quality finish work on this enclosure.

Below the foredeck a deep compartment sits just ahead of a 500-quart fishbox. Behind this within the sun lounge lies a 348-quart storage compartment.

In the cockpit deck, a pair of separate compartments, one for access to your bilge systems and a second- forward compartment that's offered as a 240-quart fish box, a secondary livewell, or the space can also be used to mount a SeaKeeper.

A helm station work area in the pit featuring rod holders and tackle storage make setting up for action simple. A fiberglass drink cooler on a sliding track doubles as a rear facing seat. For live baiters, a 70-gallon well in the transom powered by a Hooker sea chest pump system with dual 2500 gallon adjustable pumps won't let you down when having enough bait is critical.
