The classic style of a North Carolina offshore sport fishing boat is easily recognizable by the sharp entry and exaggerated Bow Flair built for running the treacherous inlets of the Outer Banks. The legendary design was brought into the mainstream by a handful of builders' years ago and nobody made a bigger mark on the industry back in those days than the late Buddy Davis. As the demand for larger outboard powered center consoles increased Mr. Davis bucked the trend of building more streamlined racy looking boats and introduced the classic lines of the traditional inboard powered boats in a modern outboard powered package. The 34 CC is just such a boat and retains the traditional profile yet combines it with a fully 360-degree fish around layout and fast outboard power. This model is fully customizable and built to order in multiple configurations to suit your needs. Forward seating is an option if you enjoy cruising as well as fishing but this is a pure fishing boat from stem to stern.
Fishing amenities include a cavernous 600-quart storage compartment below deck forward along with (2) companion 280-quart fish boxes alongside the tackle center mid-ships. Twin 45-gallon live baitwells are located across the transom fitted with top quality Hooker pumps. The 34 CC is outfitted with all of the same durable hardware found on her larger full sized inboard powered cousins in fact they're built on the same production line. She features a full sized tackle center behind the leaning station consistent with those found on a larger boat in fact the entire boat has a “Big Boat” feel to it when you fish on one. The console features 6' 6” of headroom inside and a head w/macerator, sink and hand held shower are found below. The console at the helm features a hinged face which tilts aft easily providing easy access to all fully coded wiring and electronics. The hull, hard top, and T-top tubing are all painted with AwlGrip further lending to her custom quality and appearance.
For the offshore fisherman who needs a rough water ready vessel and appreciates classic lines, the Buddy Davis is a solid candidate. Rigged with Triple (3)-300 HP outboards, this is a very fast, super stable, and extremely sea worthy package that any serious fisherman would find lots to like about.
