Boston Whaler 330 Outrage

Boston Whaler 330 Outrage
The 330 is built to ride comfortably on her DRS (dynamic running surface) with self-leveling tabs.

As center console boats continue to get larger and larger, we are seeing many comfort features added to boats that have really changed the game. Certainly, the task of incorporating these features is made easier with the added room available on a 40' plus vessel. Boston Whaler has managed to engineer a great deal of comfort into their designs in recent years but those qualities don't require the purchase of a 50-footer anymore. The 330 Outrage is a fine example of smartly using space to combine luxury boating with functional fishing features and wrapping them into a reasonable sized package.

Extremely comfortable seating forward includes a forward wraparound sofa style lounge facing aft towards a 60” long console lounge wide enough for two with fold down armrests. The entire forward deck is roomy and open for entertaining but doesn't sacrifice fish-ability for comfort. Beneath the console lounge is a cavernous storage area that is large enough to step into and features a rack storage system large enough to stow multiple offshore rods along with tank racks for four (4) dive tanks, leaving plenty of room for additional gear storage.

The console is large enough to easily accommodate a great deal more gear and features a VacuFlush Head and sink with pull out shower sprayer. At the helm face, Whaler has laid out a very user friendly dash and three-sided glass Pilot House style enclosure which is thoughtfully laid out for easy visibility while underway. A raised helm deck gets the driver high enough to safely navigate with unobstructed views of the water ahead as well as the electronics and switching.

From a fishing standpoint the cockpit features insulated fish boxes in deck, a large 50-gallon live well in the transom (center) and an optional additional 40-gallon live well under the aft facing mezzanine seating. The cockpit is extremely roomy with plenty of workspace while fishing a traditional outrigger spread behind the boat but 360-degree fishing is easily accomplished for the fan of drifting with kites and using the entire length of the boat for rod holders.

The 330 Outrage is a boat that will really appeal to family boaters who like to cruise comfortably but are serious about their recreational water sports. Whether fishing, diving, cruising or just relaxing at the dock, this boat offers an impressive list of features to do all of the above in style.
