Florida Sportsman member pezvela and crew accomplished something that many South Floridian anglers can only dream of, catch a blue marlin within sight of the inlet. With the winter winds upon us, the crew decided to dust off the kite and hang a couple goggle eyes in 300 feet of water off the Boca Inlet. The smaller sailfish had some trouble chowing down on the large goggle eyes, but this large blue marlin didn't have to think twice. Only 20 pound main line and 40 pound leader material brought the marlin boat-side for a successful release. Of course, the crew managed to release a sailfish in the same day as well.
