The new Blackfin Blade Saver helps protect small outboard propellers.
The new Blackfin Blade Saver, from manufacturer Regarding the Outdoors, is specially designed to protect propellers on outboard motors less than 70 HP from damage.
The unique swing back design of the high impact, composite material Blade Saver adds intense propeller protection when plowing into objects under water. This also comes in handy when fishing near oyster bars and other shallow-water hard bottom.
It's easy to install and it's a no drill application. The prop saver fits on two sizes of small outboard lower unit gear housings (10.5-8.5 inches and 8-6.5 inches). Base price is about $100.
