Berkley Lightning Rod Combo

The Berkley Lightning Rod has been around for decades, providing anglers an affordable, quality fishing rod. New for 2016, Berkley is releasing Lightning Rod Combos. In both spinning and baitcasting configurations, to cover a wide range of angling opportunities.

The baitcaster combo is light and well-balanced. The rod is multi-modulus graphite, providing strength and sensitivity. Berkley uses hidden thread technology on the fore-grip to reduce wear and tear on the anglers fingers. The skeleton reel seat exposes the blank, allowing for increased sensitivity and weight reduction.

The low-profile reel fits comfortably in the hand. Graphite frame and EVA grips also add to the comfort of this reel, allowing all day use with no fatigue. Ported aluminum spool and handle, further reduces weight.

Baitcaster combos come in medium-medium/heavy, 6-7 foot models. The spinning combos are offered in light-medium/light, 5.5-7 foot models.

Retail prices will be $69.99 for the baitcaster combos and $59.99 for the spinning outfits.
