Bring your old tackle to Punta Gorda and turn it into cash.
For the last 30 years the Florida Antique Tackle Club holds several events across the state. June sees the club at the oceanside Punta Gorda Waterfront Hotel.
Have your tackle appraised by a group of fishing tackle collectors with over 500 collective years of experience. The option to sell the items through their members-only auction will be offered.
Sign up as a yearly member ($35) at any event, or prior by visiting www.fatc.net
Bring any copy of Florida Sportsman, or online article printout, and get a free ($15) registration, allowing entrance as a member.

Public admission: $3 adults, children under 13 free
Bring in vintage tackle to have it appraised and the $3 fee is waved.
