Alligator balls rolled in Panco, ready to fry.
Florida Sportsman member RexLan was graciously given some gator meat, from this past season, from fellow FS member eorlando. Obviously, this called for trying out a new recipe. RexLan claims this delicious looking recipe can also be used with crab meat, ground catfish nuggets or any other fish, in case didn't get to bag a gator this year (or were given some!).
The recipe calls for about 12 to 16-ounces of gator meat that is broken down into small balls that get rolled in Panco and placed into a fryer. Of course, there are a few more tasty steps in-between, you can find more pictures and the full recipe with instructions, here. With a new like "Alligator Mardi Gras," you can bet it's going to be good.
