Casting for Recovery Fundraiser

Nationwide fundraiser benefits a company dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for breast cancer patients

The annual Florida Bass Paddlers fundraiser of 2018 has been selected to benefit Casting for Recovery, a non-profit based out of Bozeman, Montana. The mission of Casting for Recovery is to enhance the quality of life of women with breast cancer through a unique retreat program that combines breast cancer education and peer support with the therapeutic sport of fly fishing. The program offers opportunities for women to find inspiration, discover renewed energy for life and experience healing connections with other women and nature. CfR serves women of all ages, in all stages of breast cancer treatment and recovery, at no cost to participants.

FBP CFR FUNdraiser Rules

Fundraiser will benefit Casting for Recovery and run from November 3^rd 7:00am to November 18^th 11:45pm. Entry fee is a total of $25: $5 to TourneyX, $10 to CFR, and $10 to "Prize Pot". The tournament will be hosted on TourneyX.

1^st Place: 50% of Prize Pot + Prize Pack

2^nd Place: 35% of Prize Pot + Prize Pack

3^rd Place: 15% of Prize Pot + Prize Pack

Fishing Rules

Open to Kayak / Canoe / SUP / Belly Boat Anglers.

Any public water allowed.

Paddle or pedal craft.

Artificial lures only

Identifier will be placed on Facebook page on November 2nd and needs to be present in picture.

Any retailer purchased measuring device acceptable.

Watercraft visible in picture.

Natural lay. Catch, Photo, Release!

Large/Smallmouth, Peacock, Hybrid, Black Sea Bass

Five fish max (Unlimited Upgrades)

How it Works

Portion of proceeds benefit “Casting for Recovery”.

By entering this tournament, anglers acknowledge that they are participating at their own risk. In addition, any angler that displays behavior deemed "unprofessional" or "derogatory" will be banned from the tournament with no refund.

Every angler registered gets a 50/50 ticket.

Post your fist catch and get another ticket.

Post the max of five fish and get another ticket.

Top five anglers in standings will win additional tickets with 1^st place getting 5, 2^nd 4, 3^rd 3, 4^th 2 and 5^th place getting one.

At the end of the event, a 50/50 ticket will be drawn along with a envelope containing a "Mystery Prize."
