Training DVDS From Gun Dog Magazine

Press Release - Gun Dog Magazine

Two new training DVDS, featuring professional trainer Jeremy Moore of Pulaski, Wisconsin, are now available from Gun Dog magazine. Moore, who specializes in training dogs to hunt and retrieve shed antlers and to track and recover wounded deer, also has developed his own line of DogBone products to facilitate the training process.

Jeremy Moore demonstrates his step-by-step procedure for training a dog to hunt for and retrieve shed antlers. Emphasizing low pressure but consistent control, Jeremy shows how to encourage the retrieving instinct, teach basic obedience and develop a thorough search pattern in the field, resulting in a dog highly motivated to find and fetch “sheds.” Approximately 48 minutes.

An increasing number of states are now allowing the use of tracking dogs to recover wounded big game animals, and Jeremy Moore has developed a complete system for training these dogs. Combining a structured program with his own line of scent-training products, Jeremy shows how to bring out the tracking instinct and develop a dog's desire to stay with the track despite various obstacles, resulting in successful game recovery under all conditions. Approximately 46 minutes.
