Night Fishing Snapper

We decided to head out to fish the wrecks in Delray last night. The current was slow to the north in 90 feet of water. Although the sharks were really bad, we still got some good numbers of keeper yellowtail and a few mangroves as well. A few of the yellowtails were chunky, those are gonna be some nice filets!

Blackfin Off Breakers

We headed north to Mara Lago and picked up a blackfin around 160 feet on small purple rattle jet in 75 degree waters. A second larger blackfin hit blue/silver in 150 feet off breakers. The third and final blackfin we found in 220 feet off Lake Worth Inlet on purple again. Green and pink have not been touched today.

Chunky Cobia

So I went for it Wednesday, as my daughter was visiting and likes to fish. It was a bit rough, but it was worth it. The bottom from the beach out to 50 feet is loaded with small lanes, seabass, and triggers with an occasional keeper mixed in. But guess what is feeding on em?

Last Few Trips

I took my boys out of Palm Beach Inlet in early December and fished live gogs right out front from 120-250'. My younger son got his personal best dolphin and kingfish to date. My older son got his first sailfish! Great day!

It was a very nice day. All the fish were caught before 10:00am, between 170 and 220 feet of water, including this beautiful dolphin. The storms were building onshore pretty quickly so I decided to call it an early day.

Fort Pierce Action

It was a nice easy ride out, almost like summer. We observed scattered weed from 150' out to 450'. A few guys said there were mats out in 650' and 1000'. I picked up two dolphin in 280' before 8:30am and moved out to 400'- 450' where we had a double with sails. After about an hour deep, I moved back into 300' and picked up another four dolphin and a hammerhead as bycatch.

Fish on the Troll, Drift, and Bottom

Shoeless: We have gone out St. Lucie Inlet the last two weekends and got our limit of vermillion snapper, golden tilefish, and a handful of porgy each time. I fixed a broken hose this past week and needed to make another run this past weekend just to run the boat, so went to our snapper spot and got out limit of vermillion again and a few porgy.

century7: The plan was to bottom fish, but on our way out we decided to buy some live bait and try for some bigger fish. We headed east and fished multiple spots with scattered weed from 125'-250'. The radio was quiet. We only got a few hits throughout the day, one of which almost spooled me before it cut my line. We decided to bump troll to another spot. As soon as I put it in gear, I could see the first sail take a shot at my bait. Did a quick drop back and fish on! While fighting that fish, we see some others free jumping in the area. We moved to another spot and got one more sail.

CoastalCatch: I took my sweetheart out for our monthly sunrise on a flat sea and drifted eastward off the lighthouse to 350', where a blackfin hit a bonito strip 30' down on 2 oz. lead with ten feet of 25 pound fluorocarbon and a 4/0 circle hook. We were back at the ramp by 8:30.

Mahi on the Run and More

Tons, and I mean TONS, of reports have been flooding in from the southeast, despite some inclement weather. Mahi, cobia, tiles, mahi, tuna, snapper, kings and did we mention MAHI, yet? Yes, the dolphin run is in full swing. There seems to be a trend in the recent southeast regional offshore fishing successes. The fish are being caught close or far out, and just a few in between. The magic numbers seem to be between 160'-180' as forum member CaptNemo stated in his Boca report, but are as close as 80' as Dustin Boynton reported. A few have been reported from 200-270' off St Lucie and Boynton. If you're feeling adventerous, 600'-900' have also been reportedly successful off Boynton. Gogs and ballyhoo have been the baits of choice. The Boynton Beach Inlet seems to be at the heart of the action. "Lots of life out there," says GRSC. For more details on your area, check out the reports below. Since there were just so many reports, we marked the most successful reports with an asterisk(*). They are also organized from most recent(top) to least(bottom).

Mahi up North, Kings & Sails down South

Garysmo: Finally, some good news! We headed out about 15 miles early this morning, a little southeast of Fort Pierce Inlet. We trolled out to about 220' and got the first dolphin. The weeds were still pretty scattered. We went out to about 250', heading northeast and got a second one. We started to head due north around 250' and got two more, where the water temperature was over 78. We got a bull around 250' in a color change. The cow was right there, but we couldn't get her to hit anything.

Tunachaser: My older son made the Honor Roll at school, so he got to take a day off to play hookey with Dad. We worked the edge from Lake Worth Inlet to Boynton and got three kings, which all ate Rapala HMag25. We headed offshore where we were met with lots of scattered weeds all the way out to the 48 line. We also saw two sails free jump and what I believe was a marlin free jumping. We caught one peanut out deep and came back in to find a nice weedline around 300'. We played with more peanuts there before calling it a day. My son brought us though the inlet and learned how to dock the boat to end a great day.

St. Lucie to Lake Worth

The weather was nice, which called for some offshore adventuring. Forum member Tori'S Toy reported a light swell, breeze, and blue water in Lake Worth. "The plan was to troll to Jupiter, which we did with no hits. We decided to try bottom fishing. We caught fish, but nothing to write home about. Six remora, three large blue runners, two bonito, one mahi too small to keep, one jack, and one filefish. The mahi and bonito were caught on a slight weedline around 150'."

Meanwhile, GradyRunner reported, "Finally had a good day on mahi off St. Lucie Inlet. We caught eight and lost two. We fished a couple good weedlines. One around 270' and another deeper, around 450'. We caught most on naked ballyhoo, but a nice one on a pink feather."

Nice Dolphin in Port St. Lucie

I had the chance to get out early Saturday morning on a neighbor's boat. We got out to 100', a little south of the inlet. Just as we were getting the third line out, the first one gets hit. It was a nice one. He hit a mono rigged ballyhoo behind a yellow bird teaser. That was it until noon. Then we had a sail hit us three times and we just could not get him to get hooked up. We got one small bonita after that and headed back in. Although the fishing wasn't great, I really enjoyed the company and was so glad to get out.

Latest Action Offshore

I got out for another afternoon trip. We left Boynton Inlet around 1pm and Forrest Gump'd it and just kept running until we found a slick with scattered weeds- about 24 miles offshore. We picked up a nice slammer dolphin in 1900' and missed another about an hour later. We picked up two tuna as well. The dolphin bite is heating up for sure. I didn't weigh the fish, but I'm guessing he was around 25 pounds.

His previous trip got him more meat in the cooler, but consisted of smaller fish. That day, the bite heated up around 4:00 and ended up putting a total of eight in the bag. The slick he fished on was 22 miles offshore and ran from Delray to Jupiter.

Golden Fishing Off Boca Raton

"We caught some Rosey's and then decide to troll for some dolphin. While trolling, the rod goes off and we caught a bushel of bananas. Not just any bananas, organic bananas. I told my buddy that we had been cursed with bad luck. My buddy thought the opposite and some good luck was on its way. I decide to test my luck. First drop after catching the bananas and we got a 21 pound tilefish." Says b1gdog83. Drifting Sardines for Hillsboro Kingfish

The inlet was lumpy in the dark as we headed to my favorite gog spot. They weren't home, so my kite stayed in the tube. Plan B found us drifting whole sardines in a three to four foot swell, but Darryl was not disturbed, even when the odd five footer sprayed us. It wasn't long before my octogenarian had a nice king along side... and then another.

Wahoo in Boynton

I started off the morning live baiting south of the inlet with no luck. I got in touch with Chase from Reel Rival charters and he told me he just caught a double header wahoo north of the inlet. So off I went and put out the spread. I starting zig zagging from 150'-250'. BOOM! Landed a double header on the planer and lead. We circled back around and the next pass over the same spot, another double on! We ended up pulling the hook on one and landed the other. Three out of four wahoo in the matter of 20 minutes. We ran out of bait and decided three was enough. Awesome day!

Long Day in Juno

We got out early, but we didn't get a bite until the end of the day. We had called it quits and were headed in, when on a whim we decided to stop around 90 feet off Juno and toss out two live baits. Tossed the first one in and immediately got hit with this nice bull.

Juno Gaffers

We trolled down towards Juno and found a bunch of birds working something that was partially submerged. We set up the live baits in 140' or so off Juno and picked up three nice gaffers on freelined gogs over the course of a couple hours. The bite died, so we trolled back north and didn't find anything else except some bonitos. Long swells, north wind, was a nice day today. On an interesting note, the big fish had four whole goggle eyes, a filefish, and a couple ballyhoo in his gut. The others were stuffed with ballyhoo and crabs. It's amazing how much these fish can stuff in their guts.

Jupiter Bottom Fishing

We headed out the inlet around 8am to flat, calm seas. NOAA said two to four with occasional five footer. I guess they were wrong, but it always pays to look and see. With live bait scarce and forum members reporting not much on the troll, we decided to bottom fish. We went to 80 feet off Juno and setup on the reef. The bite was on right away. We got a 16" mutton (released), yellowtail, blue runners, grunts, and a nice grouper. The bite shut down around 10am so we moved to the 100' ledge and not much was happening there. The west wind picked up and was blowing us rapidly offshore. We were back in by noon. Beautiful day on the water!

St. Lucie Inlet Tuna and Dolphin

Once on the water, the day started out great and we were able to load up with great greenies at the sandpile. We headed out and found a nice weed line in 225' and took it south. After ten minutes, the green and yellow daisy chain gets hammered. After a longer than expected fight and of course the death circles, we pull in a very nice tuna. We set back up and keep going and hit a 21" dolphin that we released.

Boca Raton Hungry Dolphin

It was fairly flat out and we found a nice rip with good weeds in 750'. No more than ten minutes into the troll, the rattle jets get smacked and the fun begins. The school stayed with us a while and we kept about a dozen of the better ones with some small gaffers mixed in. Back on the troll and repeat! They were so hungry, it was crazy. I swapped out my bally for two more rattle jets and more than once had three or four on at a time. They'd nail the rattle jets as we were letting them out. They were crushing the chunks as soon as you dropped them in the water.

We ended keeping 19 and fed the neighborhood!

Boynton Dolphin

We headed southeast and didn't stop until we found the blue water, which was in about 1100ft. We came across a small weed patch with a piece of rope holding some bait. I immediately started throwing some chunks out and the dolphin showed up within minutes. I tossed a live pilchard out and it was game on. We picked up four decent size mahi, which all hit baits aggressively and peeled line. My daughter was great help keeping lines tight as I hooked multiple fish.

We found a massive weed line about four to five miles offshore. The weedline went on for miles. We found a large part of what used to be someones dock mixed in the weedline. It was covered with dolphin of all sizes. We kept five and released the rest.

Boynton Beach Dolphin

The mullet run is in full swing so the morning started off with tarpon launching out of the water to feast at first light. Once the sun came up the action on the beach stopped, so I went deeper. I deployed baits in 100 feet of water and not ten minutes later my live goggle eye gets hit by this mahi. The fight actually was not as intense as the other mahi I've caught, even though this one is probably my biggest.

Boca Raton Mahi Haul

We worked in 750' on a nice rip with weeds for about an hour and kept about six or seven legals. At the 52 line, we pick up a double of a little better fish. We decided to head off and at the 49 find massive weed patches. We trolled around them for an hour, with nothing but a couple small blackfins. On the way back in, we see a couple more really big patches with boards, chairs, etc. We put out the baits and picked up seven on several passes.

Lake Worth Mahi and Tuna

We put out a spread of Black Bart lures and headed east. The water was milky, but there wasn't as much debris as I expected. Finally, in 600' we found more weed, some current and bait. We picked up a dolphin and a skipjack tuna there. We kept working our way east to see what else we could find, but at about 700' the seas got quite a bit worse. We decided to troll back in and managed a decent sized blackfin in around 300'.

Fort Pierce Night Snaps

Forum member FISHHUNTR has been having success with some late night snapper trips, and even got some snook to bite a hook on his way back in. In his most recent trip out he stated that the bite was a little slower than expected. The size average went down a bit, but it was still a good haul for a few hours fishing. "I loaded up on threadfin and set up in 50'. There was a light current to the south." He boxed nine mangroves from 17" to 22" and one 18.5" mutton. Once inland, he quickly fooled two snook with a plug, 1 short as well as a 31 incher.

Heavy 'Hoo, Light Gear

I have not been posting much, but the bite is red hot! We've been catching limits of kings, a sail or three, and wahoos every other trip! Today we weighed in Chris' 80.8 pound wahoo that was caught within 45 minutes on 20 pound test.

Boca Raton Trolling Dolphin

We ran out 16 miles and trolled in heavy scattered weeds and got a double of some nice 'phins. We kept trolling in and saw a big splash not far away. We turned towards it and as we got close I see a school coming at us. Two rattle jets and one ballyhoo go of and the fun began. At one point we had six fish on. These dolphin were the most hungry I have seen this year, with half of them being gaffers.

Lake Worth Trolling

We trolled SE to 400' and managed a bonito, joy. We went back to 300' and put three gogs out, a free swimmer, one weighted, and one on float. We drifted north at about two knots. Around 280' the weighted gog gets nailed. Rod is doubled over. First thought, frickin' shark. But she started to gain on it relatively easy. We get it to boat and it turns out to be a nice king. We reset and few minutes later free runner takes of. She reels it in again, 'cuda.

The Offshore Rundown

Today we scored some big tunas in 175'. We've also been catching kings, muttons and small dolphin. Each trip, there is usually at least one to three shots on sails. The kings have been coming in by slow trolling big baits very shallow. The dolphin are all over, but the best fishing is 11-15 miles out if you can find weeds, edges or any floating debris. Cobias are very hit or miss, but much better fishing way north of Lake Worth Inlet.

Palm Beach to Jupiter

We fished out of Palm Beach and ran offshore early to look for some dolphin. We got one schoolie while trolling scattered weed in 1,200'. We looped back and chummed up three more decent schoolies. We trolled several more weed patches and slicks without another hit. Ran into 120' or so just south of Jupiter and caught a mix of fish, bonitos, rainbow runners, a big yellowtail and a keeper cobia. The sharks were relentless and put on a show eating 15 pound bonito in one bite. Seas were pretty flat and current in 120' was pretty slow.

Fort Pierce: Load Up on Live Sardines

The snapper bite continues to be good on the offshore bar in 80'. Good news is they are hitting live sardines as soon as it hits bottom. Bad news is they wouldn't touch anything else. We tried live pilchards, dead sardines, cut bait, etc. Nothing else was touched. 12a bouy was holding lots of sardines and we stopped there and got a few, but figured since we had a well filled with pilchards, we had plenty of bait. Big mistake, you never have too much bait. As soon as we ran out of live sardines, we didn't get another bite.

Fort Pierce Offshore Fishin'

There were nice calm seas and 12a bouy was holding some sardines. We looked for dolphins on a nice weed line in 120', but had no bites besides tuna. We fished a wreck in 160' and had fun with AJ's. Calm seas and very little current made it easy to fish. We went in to 80' and did some bottom fishing, looking for grouper. The snapper bite has been good all year, so even a blind squirrel can put some nuts in the box. We got lucky. Nothing to brag about, mostly two to three pounds, but we got one about six pounds. A cobia swam by and we got lucky again.

A Stuart Trip for the Books

The sailfish bite was great. For three of the five days, we had a sail on within two minutes of the first bait out. The best day was Friday, as it was super nice, we had a livewell full of turbo's and were fishing by 7:30am and had three sailfish released by 9am. All three of the people on board that morning that had never gotten a sail all got one. They were really nice fish in the 50-70 pound range. All of our sails were in 54-90' of water slow trolling a four line spread of naked sardines on 5/0 live bait hooks.

Dolphin on a Daisy Chain

Seas were one to two foot with an occasional three foot wave in the morning and by 10 they calmed to almost nothing. We went out to 75' before dropping our four lines. We headed further east and stumbled on a pretty decent size weedline that we trolled up and down out to 160 feet. Water was not very blue, it had a decent amount of green to it. We caught a slinger bull in 159' on the squid chain around 10:00. The chain was very close to the boat, barely out of the prop wash. It was our first time ever catching on the daisy chain. Up until this point, I've always had it out as a teaser, except that its rigged with a hook on the final squid.

First Place Dolphin

It was 11am and we were feeling hopeless at the time, when all of the sudden we get a good bite. I looked back, the 'phin took flight and I knew it was a big fish. We fought the cow for about 20 minutes and she got the gaff. When it hit the deck we went crazy.

The first flat line out gets bit, so I proceed to put the kite out with two gogs. Not too long after, my long gets busted and I hook into the fish. As I hook that fish, the short gets hit by a tuna that jumped completely out of the water.

Jumbo Dolphin

While running around, we came across some nice weed patches forming a decent line and picked up a handfull of 20 pounders. Then cruising along the weed line on top, we spot the man. Pitch a pilchard on the Saragosa 10000 to him and game on. Thirty minutes later the steel was sunk in his head. He weighed 70 pounds on the money, 12 hours after being caught.

The first drop produced a very nice mutton on a gog, followed by a vermillion on a bonito chunk. A little while later, we broke off a sail. While we were resetting after the sail, a school of lit up dolphin showed up.

Inside 200' seas were very calm 0-2'. Outside 200' there were some very big rollies 4-8'. Around two, in 150', the line on the down planner went off. The phin wasn't very big, but still better than getting skunked for a long day. The bite was on a blue and white Iland Sea Star.

We had a charter cancel last minute this morning. Scotty and I already had the boat ready, so we decided to go out anyway. We didn't get many hits, but what we did was all quality. Two kings, 42 and 46 lb, a 13lb African pompano, a bunch of short muttons and one mutton just under seven pounds.

We started fishing some live bait, while prospecting the bottom. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ! Holy smokes Mickey got a huge smoker, then another, and a few snakes too. Not having a king permit, we just kept two, and released several, feeling good about being "conservation minded". Of the two we kept, the biggest smoker was about 40lbs.

Mickey loves light tackle, so when a nice king slammed his torium 16 with 15lb test, he was delighted! He rallies a limit of kings in 15 minutes and then I see movement on my stealth bomber. I have the entire Buccaneer Sailfish fleet all around me! Helium and kites fill the sky, but no one is catching. Meanwhile, Mickey is tight and his sailfish is dancing all around their spreads!

Around 200' we noticed a decent amount of scattered weeds. We got bit on mid-distance centerline from the boat with a pink and white islander on pre-rigged ballyhoo with wire. We saw a flash of blue, but no acrobatics. We cleared the other lines, and got the fish to the back of the boat and saw the zebra. As soon as he saw the boat, he took a smoking run. We barely got him back up and in the boat.

Started trolling around 8am headed NE. Hit a rip in about 120' and hooked on to two hoo's in the middle of all the sport fishers kite fishing for sails. Went bottom fishing and had a couple of bites on the bottom, when suddenly we were bombarded by a group of three-four sails. Hooked up on two.

Eric's reels starts screaming, and he's into the fight. Eric starts to gain some line and suddenly we see color. Now everything gets serious and we're grabbing the gaffs and clearing lines. Eric gets the fish up next to the boat and Gary and I hit it with two gaff shots and get it into the fish box. The Cobia went 38lbs and was about 48 inches.

We decided to go with the kite on day two. Turned out to be a good call since it led to a wahoo and sail. Both caught in 150ft. The Wahoo ate the closest kite bait and put on a great show. Huge shoutout to Mike with Angler Management for urging us to use a wire leader. That wahoo would have gotten a free lunch had we not gotten the tip.

I started heading west and found some weed lining up in about 95'. Followed that north and got my first hit towards the north end of Singer Island. I looked at the depth finder and saw 90' and no jumps, so was kind of thinking Bonito territory, but once I got him close I saw Christmas tree green. What a sight for sore eyes.

We ran south and it was blowing about 15 out of south/southeast with clean water. Good north current too. We caught a dolphin, then had a big king get sharked. Then we caught a sail, got clean release and reset. The best fishing for us was 120-135'

Boca Raton Snapper Limit

We started off with a few kingfish bites on the vertical jig, finally landing a nice one which was followed shortly by a double on sails on the kite. Some more vertical jigging brought up an amberjack followed shortly by a small red grouper and finally a vermillion snapper. Realizing we were on vermillion's, we switched over to targeting them and limited out in about an hour.

Shrimp Boat Fishing Slam

The line ran off the reel faster and stronger than any of the other bites. The fight on a fast action rod and a 30 class reel was an absolute blast. Capt. Chaz told me as the fish got closer to the surface, that Yellowfin will do crazy things. Sure enough he was right. We saw color on the fish and shortly after, it made a run for the bow of the boat.

In about 240 feet a few small mahi hit the spread and was really cool to see some jumps with 2 fish on, a bit frantic but landed them both and kept one, nothing major but thankful once again for some mahi action and meat for our table.

A Wahoo Surprise

I get Jody baited up with a live Sardine and she flips it out 20 feet from the side of the boat. A Wahoo skyrockets 5 feet out of the water next to the boat and it was game on. I'm waiting any minute for the line to go slack since we are using 40 pound fluorocarbon leader. After 45 minutes the fish is within gaffing range and I get a great head shot.

Grunt chunks and sardines have been my bait of choice, live goggle eye caught some nice ones too. I use a long leader, 15 feet of 40 pound fluorocarbon and a circle hook for the snapper. The best bite has been when tide is running the right direction from the south with lite ESE wind. The bite has been the best when tide has us using 4 to 8 ounces to hold bottom.

Headed to a spot in 25 feet I hadn't fished since last year; marks on the machine indicate some life so lines in around 1:30am. Depsite not having any chum the fishing was good, baits were getting thumped not long after hitting bottom. I caught a 28 & 26 inch mutton right off the bat and a few legal mangos and some short muttons.

We started on the hill, with the current ripping at seven MPH, tuna were deep at 200 plus feet. Trolled the 80 foot line. Nice weed line but no bites. Bottom fished by black condo when a cobia came up to boat. The fish ate a bucktail jig and 25 minutes later we landed a 30 pound cobia.

Within about 10 minutes of trolling the long starboard reel starts screaming, rod is bent over double, and all the wire is off the reel leaving only about 50 yards of the backing. I was worried that the wire to mono connection would break, fortunately we remained tight and after about 15 minutes we slid that wahoo thru the transom door and the congratulations began.

I think the fishing is in a good pattern right now, the steady dose of light north winds have finally allowed us to develop a pattern. The sails are moving in nice packs from 110 to 130 and 180 to 210 feet. Mixed in are the usual kingfish, Mahi and some cobias on the flat (deep) rods.

We pull up and my wife snags a wahoo on a vertical jig under the mouth. Bar jacks were everywhere and could not keep baits away. I decided to jump in, saw about 25 to 30 wahoo under the water that would stay deep, but come up to the surface every now and then. I shot a dolphin, rainbow runner and a triple tail (Federal Waters).

The beach has spinner sharks migrating down it so its a great way to hear action. 10 to 20 feet from breakers to dodge wall is holding large schools of sharks. 20 pound spinning gear makes it a blast. In the mix we managed a 39 pound cobia and lots and lots of sails.

A little while later another fish came up on the same short kite. Also aggressive he ate in one bite and headed for the long bait. This one I was ready for and came tight quickly. He didn't even skip a beat. Despite me pulling on him he took drag right to the long kite bait. I tried winding it out of the way but he inhaled it. Holy cow!

Action was off the condos in 130 to 150 feet, with 143 being the hot number. Goggle eyes were getting pounded all day and we broke off a few and had some 30 plus pound fish sharked, but managed a 42 and 45 pounder on the marina scale and broke our current record.

Another pass and I'm in the process of setting a rigger bait in the clip and the line starts smoking for a few seconds then nada. It turns out it was a blue marlin that went over to our other rigger bait and popped off before we had much to say about it. It did put on a nice show on the surface as he was greyhounding away though.

I caught and release a few more slingers. I came across some type of blue plastic 15 gallon bucket/drum. I trolled passed it and get hit (big bull) on my 12 pound test spinning rod. I was losing line fast and was afraid I was going to get spooled. I was by myself so I had to back down and fight the fish at the same time.

We were able to hook lots of fish and the lady anglers did their best and we captured four nice fish over three hours. They were able to get 4th place dolphin and 4th place King however the prize money was paid only three prizes.

A Bakers Dozen

We catch two or three more and work for some time and it was either quiet or the bells are ringing as we ended up with a baker's dozen of decent size dolphin. They are not all that big but they are easy to clean and very tasty, we threw back several that did not meet the size limit and hopefully the next trip out they will still be around and have grown considerably and put up a lot more fight.

I slowly bring the fish close enough for Mike to reach out and stick a perfect gaff shot right in the melon. As him and Yoan fight to bring him into the boat is when I realize how big he really is. We get him on the deck and reality sets it!

Fish Filled Weekend

We moved deeper to 200-300 feet, no bites. Well we thought no bites. As we reeled in the deep rod it had a small blackfin tuna attached to it. Weird thing was he wasn't hooked. The circle hook just around his tail. We must have been dragging in backward for a long time because he came in dead as a door nail.

An Adventure to Costa Rica

Got the chance to venture down to Costa Rica in March to get away from work and do a little fishing. Fished with Tranquilo Charters out at the FADs. Ended up getting my first marlin and roosterfish. Got a lot of bites from marlin but being the noob that I am to marlin fishing most came unglued.
