This model from Release represents a smartly designed “Bridge Boat” that spans the gap between a smaller single engine center console and a full grown triple or quad powered beast. The 301 RXS is designed with the family in mind as well as the fishermen. Family comfort begins in the bow with a convertible seating arrangement that allows picnic seating for six. The wrap-around seating quickly converts to a full casting deck by removing the pedestal and dropping the table into place at seat height. Standing on the casting deck brings the bolster/gunnel height up to knee level roughly allowing plenty of room to swing a large cast net over. Gear storage is available beneath the seating port and starboard and a very large storage compartment is located below deck on the center line forward. A forward facing console seat also reveals a very wide opening into the oversized console with an electric head and shower along with tons of room for storage as well.
A comfortable split helm seating arrangement features matching captain chairs with high backrests and flip up seat cushions for standing positions as well as fold-up arm rests. Behind the seat backs are four rod holders and three cup holders on top of a rear facing tackle center. The open cockpit design features three in deck fish boxes along with a large live bait well across the transom with a clear lid for easy monitoring of your bait supply. Fresh and raw water wash-downs are both standard equipment. The 301 RXS is a good blend of family features and fish-ability that can also be configured without the forward seating for the folks who are mission specifically devoted to hardcore fishing.
