In this episode
Captain George Gozdz heads up to fish the Apilachicola River for catfish. Joined by Glenn Flowers, an accomplished catfish angler, George and crew head up river, targeting structure, where the catfish lay. Three species of catfish can be targeted on the Apilachicola River, the flat head, blue and channel catfish, all three mingling amongst the same areas. Stout grouper tackle is required to keep these catfish out of their hole. Butterflied herring on the bottom is the best bet for bait, as the catfish use their olfactory senses to feed.
