It's late in the game, but not too late to win!
This week, CCA STAR received a call from an angler who caught an iHeart Radio STAR Tagged Redfish while fishing in Punta Gorda/Charlotte Harbor. He caught - and released - a 19” Duke Energy-reared beauty, tag FL547 using artificial bait. AND HE'S REGISTERED FOR STAR!
Pending verification, we may have a third winner in the signature redfish division!
We also had an unregistered angler catch a tagged red last week, but unfortunately without that registration, he was out of luck!
Remember, every fish you catch could make you a winner. There are so many ways to win in the 17 divisions! The competition ends on Labor Day. If you plan to fish this week and this holiday weekend, get registered and you could be the next winner!
