Be A Part of FS Project Dreamboat TV Show!

Building on what started 30 years ago with Florida Sportsman's first installment of One Man's Dreamboat--a popular series of articles in the magazine featuring readers and their custom boat projects--Florida Sportsman's Boating Editor, Dave East and the Boating Forum Moderator Dan McCarthy, will now bring the concept to television with a 13-part series.

We plan to follow the custom "Dreamboat" build projects of several boats over the next 8-10 months. If you're considering starting a project, whether you're cutting decks out or buying a relatively new boat, we'd like to consider following your dreamboat project. As part of the TV show we'll be working with sponsors to get you "sponsor pricing" so you can count on saving money on big ticket items such as power, electronics, metal fabrication, boat trailer, trim tabs, etc.

In order to document the build your project will need to be worked on no more than a 30 minute drive of Stuart to accommodate our film production crew. We'll need to follow the boat from start to finish, with a deadline being September, 2015. You'd be responsible for your project, whether you do the work or not, but now you'll be a reality TV star.

In addition to following the builds of several dreamboat projects, from start to finish, we want to feature others who have already completed their dreamboats. In each show we'd like to feature you guys that have already finished your projects to give others proof that it can be done. Plus, it'll give a ton of ideas to others that are still in the planning process.

I'm sure you're going to have more questions, if you have them shoot me a PM or give me a call.

I'm looking forward to helping make your dream(boat) a reality.

Thanks for being part of the Florida Sportsman family,

Blair Wickstrom
