New Knives Introduced by SOG

SOG Knives , founded in 1986 in southern California, is named for its original product, a commemorative knife built to specificiations of a special-operations (Studies and Observations Group) blade used by U.S. forces in the Vietnam War. Today, the company manufactures a wide range of hunting and utility knives. Folding and fixed blades are available, as well as utility tools and illumination systems. Aura—Hunt
The Aura Hunt has a tough glass-reinforced polymer handle that is overmolded with a more pliable material for non-slip comfort. The Aura Hunt's stainless steel blade doesn't have a clunky crossguard that isolates the hand; rather, SOG adapted the blade design to ensure the element of safety as well as allowing for greater control. The blade has a gut hook ideal for skinning game as well as a carbide sharpener built into the handle in case your edge requires a touch up in the field. MSRP $55.00
Field Pup II
The Field Pup II is the right size and weight, suitable for a variety of outdoor sporting tasks, including hunting. It's comfortable to use with its slightly yielding Kraton molded handle that form fits the full tang blade. SOG's trademarked finger grips are combined with aggressive thumb notches on the back of the blade, providing for a solid grip. The blade is also protected by a leather sheath. MSRP $70
Fielder XL
This is a knife that is comfortable as a daily carry or out in the wilds. The proven liner lock system provides reliability as well as one-hand opening of the Fielder XL's capable blade. MSRP $35
Trident—Black TiNi
The Trident features S.A.T., (SOG Assisted Technology™), SOG's well-proven means of delivering a knife blade to the open position. The new Arc-Actuator™ allows the blade to lock stronger and release easier. There is also a built-in safety to lock the blade closed. When it shows red, you are ready to go.
