More of what we saw at the annual Miami Boat Show.

Boats: What's New on the Water this Summer?
Miami International Boat Show

More great boats we saw at the 2025 Miami International Boat Show earlier this year.

Blackfin 262HB

The Blackfin 262 HB Hybrid Bay Boat easily converts from grouper-jigging offshore to plug-casting redfish in the bay. The double-stepped Advanced Carbon Fiber Technology hull and Mercury Verado power don’t leave anything behind on speed, performance or fuel economy. Aerated 5-gallon pitch wells in the bow and 30-gallon livewells in the stern combined with bait prep stations and tackle storage make this a must-have for serious anglers, while ample cup holders, roomy head and seating make for afternoon sand bar comfort. Miami Boat Show price as shown was $212,000.

Regulator 35

Every so often a boat comes along that can truly be called a “game changer.” Such is the case with the Regulator 35, the latest offering by the Edenton, NC boat builder. This Yamaha-powered center console outfitted with the latest Seakeeper technology to provide the smoothest of rides includes a 405-gallon fuel tank, pressurized center transom livewell and up to 49 rodholders. The split forward seating with walkthrough to the bow allows for more leverage when fighting tuna, kingfish or sailfish. Miami Boat Show MSRP $674,995.

Valhalla V-28 Bay

The Valhalla V-28 Bay was among the “show stoppers” at the Miami International Boat Show this year—twin steps, gorgeous lines, dash perfectly framing twin 19-inch Garmins, sportfish-inspired teak helm pod with carbon fiber wheel and proprietary jackplate and trim paddles. A few weeks before the show, Florida Sportsman Editor Jeff Weakley tested the V-28 out of Valhalla’s new sales and service facility in Riviera Beach, FL. Twin 300 Mercury power delivered 2 mpg, 37 mph cruise out of the 18-degree deadrise Stepped-V Ventilated Tunnel hull. Base price with a single V10 400 hp Mercury is $318,000; the boat may also be delivered with a single Yamaha XTO 450.
