Favor simple tiller-steer power for your skiff, john boat or panga? Your days might be getting a little easier. Mercury Marine just released a tiller handle with all kinds of ergonomic improvements, compatible with recent model and new 40- through 115-hp EFI four-strokes. Swap shift handle to either side, reverse throttle grip to preference, adjust handle side-to-side up to 18 degrees port and starboard from center, move up or down vertically. Also: New integrated visual and audible warnings for engine oil, temperature, electrical and other faults, as well as for instances in which the driver's safety lanyard becomes disconnected.
