The Kayak Fishing Boondoggle Expo will be held at Fontainebleau State Park in Mandeville, LA this October 9th through 12th. October is the best time of year to fish the area.
The Kayak Fishing Boondoggle is a family-friendly event for anyone interested in kayak fishing. Attend a variety of educational workshops presented by experts in the industry. We'll have exhibitors in our Vendor Village offering all types of paddling and fishing related products, from tackle to kayaks. You can take a kayak or paddle board out for a spin and get firsthand experience between the different styles and brands. Families will enjoy children's activities, great food and music.
The Boondoggle is the only kayak fishing, paddle sport, angling event of its kind (i.e. weekend camping), and it provides an escape for kayak fishing enthusiasts looking to relax, hang out, and fish with like-minded individuals. Passionate about the Boondoggle kayak anglers travel from locations throughout Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Alabama, Louisiana, Virginia, Texas, and from as far away as California, New Hampshire, and Maine.
