Florida Sportsman member bbarton13 trolled two miles offshore of Johnson's Beach at Perdido Key to get in on a fun kingfish and Spanish mackerel bite. He got broken off three times, even with wire king rigs tied to his line. Finally, he put out a trolling lure with a 50-pound mono leader and nailed a nice kingfish. You can find Brandon fishing the Panhandle area hard and often from his Hobie kayak.
