As the name implies, Hobie's Passport series kayaks are designed to get around. The 12- and 10-foot Mirage Passport kayaks are thermoformed poly boats, a little bit lighter than rotomolded, which makes them easier to load and launch. Both models are built with recessed space beneath the hulls for the Mirage Drive GT Kick Up fins to fold completely up and out of the way—super handy for beach launches. Both models also nest snuggly with their respective sizes, which optimizes stacking for transport on a cart or storage.
The one-hand operated Twist and Seal Hatch is a cool feature for dry storage access. Rod holders, gear tracks and breathable mesh seat are standard equipment on these very reasonably priced, sophisticated pedal-drive kayaks. Customization options include indents for adding Power Pole Micro, and transducer cavity for installing a fishfinder.

A wider cockpit area with EVA floor padding provides a stable platform for standing and stretching your legs or casting a lure.
There’s plenty of real estate to stash equipment on the bow or stern cargo areas and more below deck access through the center 8” Twist-n-Seal hatch.
Hobie trimmed their famous Vantage seat for a lightweight, low-profile frame seat with breathable mesh upholstery and is low to the deck, improving stability and pedaling power.
The Glide Technology Drive features legendary bioengineered performance. For reverse gear, see Hobie's other kayak lines with the MirageDrive 180.
The Mirage Passport features a recessed hull space which helps protect the fins from catching on debris or rocks in the shallows or while beaching. This gives the Passport easy access to more places for more fun.
