Happy 1,000 For Florida Sportsman Radio Live

"After tomorrow's show we'll update it to a 1,000 cake."

The year was 1996. Bill Clinton was in the white house, the Dallas Cowboys were the kings of the football world, and George Labonte, Eden White, Ed Fish, and Rick Ryals sat in their respective studios waiting for the “On The Air” light to go on. This Saturday will mark the 1,000 consecutive Saturday morning where anglers in Palm Beach, Jacksonville, and the Panhandle will tune in their radios to get “The Word From The Water” from Florida Sportsman magazine Live Radio Network.

“Incredibly the original 4, along with Capt's. Roger Walker, John Botko in Jacksonville, and Mike Flowers in the Panhandle, show no signs of slowing down. Here's to another 1,000 Saturday Mornings of Florida Sportsman Magazine Live, “ cheered Florida Sportsman Publisher Blair Wickstrom.
