Glasstream 328 Pro-XS Review

Let's take a closer look at Glasstream 328 Pro-XS in this review

Glasstream 328 Pro-XS Review

For a pure rush of adrenaline, it’s hard to beat the racing performance at wide open throttle on a double stepped Glasstream hull making 70-MPH.

The Glasstream brand is well known for building high performance racing style boat hulls and finishing their interiors in numerous optional configurations based on a buyer’s particular interests.

The 328 Pro-XS from the Glasstream High Performance line is a double stepped bottom performance hull which when paired with twin Mercury 400R engines- provides an adrenaline rush reaching speeds into the mid-70 MPH range. A more modest power choice of twin 300 Mercury Verados offers 2.7 MPG cruise efficiency at 48-MPH and nearly 500 miles of range for distant water, offshore fishing excursions.

The 328 Pro-XS is much more than a racing style center console however. Each can be rigged as a pure offshore fishing machine which includes a 35-gallon live well, matching 7’ macerated fish boxes and a 6’ forward in deck coffin box. A hard top with outriggers, stainless gunwale mounted rod holders and a rocket launcher/leaning post as well as multiple dry storage compartments for gear complete the fishing layout nicely.

If water sports, sunset cruising and Poker Runs are more in your wheelhouse, the 328 Pro-XS can be optioned out with a Ski Arch and tow bit, your choice of audio equipment and LED accent lighting above and below the water. A Wet Bar and L-shaped aft seating (removable) along with forward lounge seating with removable backrests and storage below take cruising to the next level. Custom color combinations and upholstery detailing allow you unlimited options to personalize your build.

For the boating family whose water interests are more varied, this model is a great foundation to build into a multi-use platform. Glasstream excels at mixing and matching sports features together with cruising and leisure features into the same base platform to serve a combination of user interests. If your idea of a perfect day starts with the heart stopping excitement of a 70-MPH run offshore, adds some blue water sportfishing into the midday, and wraps up with a relaxing sunset cruise with a cold drink in hand- the 328 Pro-XS has all of the ingredients to make each of those wishes come true.
