On November 16, 2013, the Wildlife Foundation of Florida will host its Second Annual Blue Green fundraising event at the Green Glades Ranch in Weston, FL.
This fun-filled event seeks to educate and engage our youth, connecting them to the great outdoors, in order to create the Next Generation That Cares.
"The primary focus of the event remains the 'Creating the Next Generation That Cares,' programs, through the Florida Youth Conservation Network, which strive to reconnect Florida's kids with nature and the great outdoors," said Bret Boston, executive director of the Wildlife Foundation of Florida.
Dubbed a "Wild Night for Wildlife," from 5 to 10 p.m guests will be entertained with live country music, Otter John's Famous Florida Critter Show, Trick Shot Master Don Maines on horseback, all you can eat BBQ, auctions, raffles, and more. Come dressed in your cowboy and cowgirl best for a chance to win some great prizes as well!
This event also offers attendees the chance to mix and mingle with the some of the most renown Florida conservationists and organizations, as well others who share the same goal of protecting and conserving our valuable wildlife.
Of course, great events like this couldn't happen without support from the community, so the Wildlife Foundation of Florida is asking potential sponsors to step up to the plate through their "Step Up, Step Out, and Step Forward" campaign. The money raised at Blue Green will go directly to funding Foundation programs and projects.
