Florida anglers, divers, hunters and gatherers will be treated to a variety of great outdoors opportunities now through August.

Florida anglers are allowed one red snapper per day, no size limit, July 11-12.

For the next couple of weeks, Florida outdoorsmen have many opportunities for anglers, divers, hunters and gatherers to score. Red snapper in the Atlantic, lobster, alligators, snook and scallops are available depending on seasons, ranges and other limits.

The daily harvest limit during the upcoming Lobster Regular Season is six per day.

Scallop limits vary throughout range and season in Gulf waters. Follow additional Florida regulations.

  • June 15-Labor Day: Fenholloway to Suwanee River
  • July 1-Sep. 24: Franklin to NW Taylor County
  • July 1-Sep. 24: Levy, Citrus and Hernando counties
  • July 10-Aug. 18: Pasco County
  • Aug. 16-Sep. 24: Gulf County
