A hot thread on the FS Hunting Forum ought to be required reading of any prospective college student, regardless of his or her aspirations. Member A bolt, who identifies himself as a high school senior, asks a timeless question: Should he study to enter a field (in this case forestry or wildlife management) aligned with his passions (hunting and outdoors)?
Check out the forum thread here.
A-bolt finds a variety of answers among Florida Sportsman members, including some with favorable, and not-so-favorable experience in those fields. And then there is the alternate course: Choosing a field that maximizes financial return, in order to allow you to do, and buy, what you want.
