As the dual console design continues to experience a resurgence in popularity, family boaters are presented with more options than ever before in this practical configuration. For a true Hybrid Fish/Cruise experience, this layout leans more towards relaxation and luxury than utilitarian fishing platform and from that angle, we see no shortage of comfort features in the Sea Chaser 27 HFC DC.
An abundance of comfortable seating and storage for the tools necessary to enjoy full service leisure time on the water begins forward with a U-shaped wraparound style lounge seating area with removable center table. The seating features upgraded diamond pleated upholstery and a full length back bolster along with three separate dry storage compartments below. A second tier armrest level also features a storage box and cup holders located directly below the Anchor windlass system with stainless roller chock which is standard equipment.
A three-panel walk-through windshield leads aft into the shaded protection of a large powder coated hard top covering the center deck seating and helm area between the two consoles. The console to port houses an electric flushable head with a fresh water shower, Corian counter tops and plenty of storage. Behind the port side console, dual convertible fold down lounge seats feature electric lifts which reveal more storage. The starboard console also offers a side entry door with plenty of space inside below the helm station. A comfortable captain's helm chair is integrated into a full cockpit galley console offering an electric grill and refrigerator each powered by an onboard inverter and yet, even more storage is available beneath the galley.
The cockpit on the 27 HFC DC is an extension of the bow to stern relaxation layout with an additional set of fold away powder coated bench seats. The cockpit deck also offers amenities geared towards the angler or diver in the family. The open space provided with the seats stowed converts into a fully functional workspace for fishing with the necessary rod holders (8) and a rear 30-gallon live baitwell with Max-air recirculation. A transom sink, freshwater pull-up shower wand and high pressure washdown with retractable hose reel are all useful conveniences. A port side dive door provides water access for divers or an easy entry point from a floating dock. The cockpit also features easy bilge access via an electric lifted opening to maintain pumps and bilge hardware.
Luxury trim accessories from LED deck lighting to illuminated cup holders (7), Bluetooth audio system with (10) speakers and bow to stern comfortable seating combine with all of the sport conveniences necessary to host a morning fishing excursion followed up by an afternoon sandbar cook your catch visit, rounded out with an evening cocktail cruise. The versatility found in this design might make this the ultimate all-purpose tool for total family enjoyment.
