Boat Review - Sailfish 360 CC Elite

In a move to expand their appeal to boating families who enjoy all aspects of life on the water, Sailfish has made a concerted effort to build even more comfort features and cruising amenities into each new model. Working with an existing fish friendly deck design and their smooth riding (VDS) Variable Degree Stepped Hull as the foundation, design elements included in the 360 CC layout have taken Sailfish Boats into a new realm.

From a fishing perspective, this model has what you need to handle anything the blue water throws at you. From the 360-degree fishable open deck layout featuring 34 standard included rod holders to the dual cockpit live wells (42-gallon transom/ 32-gallon helm seat) and matching 260-quart cockpit insulated fish holds below deck; from this basis, the functionality builds outward. Mezzanine seating behind the helm station is split into a pair of seats separated by a fold down armrest console revealing an MFD electronic screen for cockpit viewing. Tackle drawers to port and a refrigerator to starboard frame the helm station exterior. Behind the seat backs are multiple storage compartments and below them, a performance drink cooler to port along with a 32-gallon baitwell. This seating complements two additional fold away cockpit seats (one to starboard and a second across the transom) which when deployed, form a rear social space to match the forward lounge area.

The helm offers an effective vantage point from which a full spread of baits can be managed as well as a bird's eye view of the water ahead for navigation. Three 12-inch electronics displays fit nicely across the helm panel beneath an ergonomically pleasing dash panel. A three-sided glass enclosure fits trimly around the integrated D-tubed support for the oversized hard top. Four sided LED spreader lights surround the hard top and a rear facing video camera aimed at your bait spread can be monitored on a helm display. An inverter driven air conditioning unit designed for keeping the console cabin frosty also incorporates registers on the dash panel to keep the helm station passengers comfortable as well.

The console interior is trimmed out handsomely in wood, stainless steel and Corian offering a fresh water sink and stand up shower as well as a double berth for stretching out in the comfort of cold air conditioning. Stand-up access to the multiple electrical systems is conveniently located in the console interior as well.

A bow lounge seating area includes wrap-around high-backed seats with convertible frontward facing backrests to port and starboard along with a double wide forward facing Sun Lounge on the front of the large center console. At the center deck is a power driven table which can be raised and lowered at the push of a button from deck level to casting platform/dining table height.

The list of well-planned luxury add-ons found throughout the 360 CC is extensive and it is evident that this company has done their homework regarding what the family boater finds convenient. A pair of telescopic re-boarding ladders which fit under their own hatches offer easy access to the water for swimmers or at the sand bar. Audio controllers located at the helm, the forward lounge and even at the transom within reach from the outside of the boat while beached and relaxing in the water demonstrate the planning that went into this edition. From cup holders to power points, storage compartments, to sleeping and changing quarters, this is a boat that will appeal widely to the family that doesn't only use a boat to stand on while fishing. As a tool to introduce boating and enjoy the sport with a group that spans multiple generations the Sailfish 360 CC will undoubtedly satisfy the needs of every family member.
