Birdsall Marine Design has taken a no nonsense approach in its construction of the pedestal mounted fighting chair. This chair boosts a strong but subtle styling that will compliment any boat's cockpit. This chair is ideal for larger center console boats or sportfish boats in the 25- to 45-foot range. The construction process consists of a solid fiberglass base with internally embedded aluminum plates for drilling and tapping all components. There's no wood, just fiberglass and anodized aluminum guaranteeing years of trouble free service. The billet aluminum gimble can be adjusted to five different heights to accommodate varying rod butt lengths as well as bent butt rods. The back rest has a quick release to allow an optional rocket launcher to quickly replace the back rest. Comfortable arm rests with stylish aluminum brackets add to the appeal of this chair. Bottom line is that this a good looking, rock solid, fighting chair.
