Great new center-console boats reviewed by Florida Sportsman editors at the 2025 Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show.
Cobia 285 Open Cobia 285 Open Cobia unveiled the 285 and her sister ship, the 265, in November 2024 at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show . Miami was the first chance for Florida Sportsman staffers to run one of these boats. And run we did, recording 55+ mph across a choppy Biscayne Bay on a pair of Yamaha’s newly redesigned F350 outboards. This is a beamy boat, at 9 feet, 11 inches, and the designers added all kinds of ergonomic tricks to further maximize what’s already a spacious deck. Finish struck us as high-end, all around. Fully glassed transom. No wimpy bilge access perforations. Rodholders sited to drain to the deck. Tons of space for options—like a SeaKeeper 1 Gyro on the test boat. Miami Boat Show price: $200,841.
Dusky 33 XFY Dusky 33 XFY To better fit a bow-mount trolling motor, that evermore popular accessory among bluewater anglers, Dusky redesigned the top cap of the venerable step-hull 33. The update was unveiled at the Miami International Boat Show. Practicality was evident, but something else—the design changed the whole look: A big, capable sea boat that looks smaller, sleeker. Pretty sweet. Miami Boat Show price $318,320.
Caymas 44 CT Caymas 44 CT at the Miami Boat Show. Caymas president Earl Bentz knows when he has a good thing. Using the 34 CT as a scale model of sorts, he realized the fishing market wanted something with the same fishing features only bigger and better. Hence, the 44 CT was born. A comfortable 12-foot beam, powered by 4 Mercury V10 400 h.p. motors and it still drafts only 26 inches. The newest offering from Caymas focuses on luxury and comfort for the family as well as performance. It aims to keep anglers dry as it slices through waves sent its way. Storage is another paramount focus on the 44 CT and as with all models, it is fully customizable. Miami Boat Show debut model price $1.4 million.

Pursuit S 328 Pursuit S 328 Customer-driven is how Pursuit president Chris Gratz described the new features incorporated into the Pursuit S 328 . The S 328 includes a custom molded side boarding door and stainless keyway plate for dive style 4-step telescoping ladder with dedicated storage, a folding transom seat with full height rotating backrest, folding aft-facing seat with full height rotating backrest, built-in transom cooler with a molded entertainment center and sink (w/prep area divider) and a molded leaning post with starboard side tackle center (includes knife and plier storage, four tackle boxes, and drawer storage). Miami Boat Show suggested price $440,000.
Solace 37 Pilot Solace 37 Pilot The new Solace 37 Pilot is based on the company’s proven 37 CS hull, with a key difference: To the open-deck, 360-degree access center console layout, the Solace engineering team has added a fully enclosable, climate-controlled helm station. Ample use of carbon-infused components keeps the structure light, and the sliding doors ride on smooth track wheels, latching securely. The forward and rear windows may be opened for airflow, but we’re betting a lot of Florida owners will enjoy the 12,000 BTU air conditioning (gas heater available). How’s the ride, besides quiet and cool? Performance testing by the company indicates 65 mph top end, with 1.3 mpg/40 mph cruise. Miami Boat Show MSRP starting at $941,144.
Regulator 35 Regulator 35 Every so often a boat comes along that can truly be called a “game changer.” Such is the case with the Regulator 35 , the latest offering by the Edenton, N.C., boatbuilder. This Yamaha-powered center console outfitted with the latest Seakeeper technology to provide the smoothest of rides includes a 450-gallon fuel tank and up to 49 rodholders to provide the range and tackle needs the serious angler is looking for. The split forward seating a walkthrough to the bow allows for more leverage when fighting tuna, kingfish or sailfish. The pressurized center transom livewell and bluewater bait stations make it easier to pursue big game. Miami Boat Show MSRP $674,995.
